Anne Johnson

Anne Johnson is a Project Manager at Discern Health. She has 10 years of health policy and qualitative research experience and expertise in areas such as Affordable Care Act implementation and behavioral health policy. Anne helps Discern’s clients to meet their goals by leveraging her experience in project management, stakeholder education and outreach, health policy analysis, program implementation and monitoring, health insurance exchange implementation, and quality performance measurement.

Prior to joining Discern, Anne was a Senior Research Analyst at IMPAQ International, where she worked on several federal and state government contracts with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and Pennsylvania’s Insurance Department and Department of Human Services. Her roles included directing the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight’s technical assistance to state departments of insurance, leading education efforts for a Medicare data-sharing program, conducting environmental scans on clinical guidelines for the Quality Rating System, reviewing health plans for mental health parity, and developing grantee resources on integrating primary care and behavioral health services.
