Thomas L. Weaver II
Thomas Weaver is a Project Analyst at Discern Health with experience in cancer-related financial hardship research, the complexities in outpatient care delivery, and hypertension risk factors and prevention methods. He currently supports clients through projects related to program evaluation, quality improvement, and value strategy.
Prior to joining Discern, Thomas completed a fellowship at the National Cancer Institute, where he developed accrual reporting scorecards, supported the development of a financial navigation resource assessment survey, and conducted various portfolio analyses related to social determinants and health care delivery. Additionally, he has project experience in the outpatient hospital setting related to service performance metrics and clinic navigation. Thomas has also worked as a research assistant at Howard University Hospital, where he observed the benefits of beet root juice and developed pamphlets to educate the community on risk factors and available resources.
